Hit TV series Space Invaders will return to Nine in 2023 with new and familiar brand partners at the helm.
The likes of Storage King, Wynstan, Fantastic Furniture and Flooring Xtra return for the Saturday primetime series, with brands including Officeworks, Kmart and Delonghi joining the series as sponsors for the first time.
“We’re delighted that our loyal brand partners are returning for a third season of Space Invaders. Some of them have been with us since the start and its testament to the success of the series that they are returning once again,” said WTFN BE GM, Derek Dyson.
He added, “We’re also thrilled with the new partners we’re bring in. The show has grown in popularity each year and really sells itself when it comes to brand partners coming on board”.
Derek attributes strong ratings, a unique position in a competitive renovation TV market and the show’s authenticity as the keys to its commercial success.
“I honestly don’t think there is a show that does more for its participants in such a short space of time. The transformations are truly life changing. I think audiences realise that these are real people and real outcomes we are dealing with,” he said.
“Of course growing ratings and the support of the network helps too. It’s a unique show that offers something different for brands from a traditional renovation show,” he added.
