Julia Peters

Executive Producer

With over 25 years experience in television, Julia has worked as a senior producer with some of Australia’s leading production companies across factual, factual entertainment and documentary programming.

Julia developed and executive produced ‘Becoming Superhuman’, a two part factual series for the ABC that has won many awards including the prestigious Eureka Award for Science in Journalism, an ATOM Award for Best Factual Television Series and a ROCKIE Award Best Science and Technology series, BANFF World Media Festival. She also won the inaugural AIDC/ABC factual format competition for her format ‘The Detention Centre’.

Julia created and executive produced two series of ‘Miracle Hospital’ for National Geographic Channels internationally. In the last few years, Julia has been series produced & directed the international train travel series Griff’s Great Australian Train Journey for EME & ITV. Julia delivered 10 x 1 hrs “Inside Central Station” for ITV & SBS, and has just completed her 3rd series as Executive Producer on the television series Emergency for WTFN and the Nine Network.

Julia’s passion and extensive experience continues to drive her enthusiasm to create and produce entertainment across genres and platforms.
