Radar Expands YouTube Creator Network with Venom Diaries

WTFN’s digital arm Radar has partnered with the Australian Reptile Park on a new YouTube channel.

Venom Diaries offers the audience an access-all-areas look at the lifesaving work the park’s team does with some of the world’s most venomous snakes.

Launched earlier this year, the channel is fronted by Park Manager Billy Collett, who also runs the park’s anti-venom program. Weekly episodes follow him as he risks his life to milk deadly snakes to create life-saving antivenom, despite being severely allergic to antivenom himself.

Billy is joined by a cast of park employees, each with a unique and fascinating skillset.

Radar General Manager Louisa Emery said, “WTFN has a long standing relationship with Australian Reptile Park having  created  shows like The Wild Life Of Tim Faulkner, so this partnership was a natural next step.

Billy has already demonstrated significant engagement with our audiences on our Untamed YouTube Channel, so we knew there was a real appetite for this content.”

“Radar has been developing and growing its Creator network since 2021 and we are thrilled to add Venom Diaries to our expanding network of more than  20  YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat channels. Leveraging our editing, channel managing and analyst team, arm-in-arm with the park, we’re focused on expanding the existing Australian audience and driving the channel into the US and beyond.”

Venom Diaries has amassed 1 million views since launch and recently published the emotional story of Billy’s near-death experience when he was bitten by a King Brown snake.

Park Owner/Director Tim Faulkner said: “Venom Diaries pulls back the curtain on the Australian Reptile Park’s lifesaving antivenom work—raw, real, and purpose-driven—and with Radar’s support we can inspire and educate even more people around the world.”
