WTFN original series amongst most search in Australia
Hit WTFN-made programs Emergency and Space Invaders are amongst the most searched television series in Australia.
Research conducted by online retailer Kogan has listed both shows which broadcast on the Nine Network, in the Top 10 shows searched online by Australian viewers.
Observational documentary series Emergency follows the lives of patients treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, while Space Invaders sees hosts Peter Walsh and Cherie Barber decluttering and renovating the homes of deserving families. Both broadcast in primetime and are proven ratings winners.
WTFN CEO Wes Crook said, “It’s incredible that an independent production business has two shows in the top 10 most searched for in Australia, competing against major international formats. Viewers are clearly engaged in the type of shows we make.”
“What is particularly pleasing is both programs are WTFN original series created by our world class production teams,” he added.
Emergency Season 6 will be on-air later this year, while Space Invaders Season 5 returns on February 9th 2025.
